About Me

Ever since I was a child, I couldn't get my face out of a sketchbook or my head out of the clouds with fantastical ideas. I grew up in a household that not only encouraged a budding artist, but mentored one; my father has been a graphic designer and illustrator in the industry since the early 80's. By the time I finished high school, I was already a decent, well-rounded artist, but chose to pursue higher education to refine my skills. I picked The American Academy of Art because I didn't just want to go to art school, I wanted to learn how to navigate the professional commercial art world, make valuable connections, and attend somewhere known for the work ethic I hold. My time during college was spent trying to learn as many different techniques as I could try and that is how I define myself as an artist. Versatility is the most important thing to me and I enjoy being good at many things, versus great at one. I'm the kind of creative who can find a way to do whatever is asked.

Graduating in 2020 during a worldwide pandemic taught me how to handle intense pressure and use my circumstances to my advantage. I have been working freelance ever since, while continuing to advance my knowledge and strengthen my portfolio. I'm always looking for new challenges and am excited to navigate wherever the art world takes me.
